Bismillah al rahman al rahim

صٓ ۚ وَٱلْقُرْءَانِ ذِى ٱلذِّكْرِ Arabic Sad By the Qur'an with its reminding . . .! English - Abdel Haleem

بَلِ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ فِى عِزَّةٍۢ وَشِقَاقٍۢ Arabic Yet the disbelievers are steeped in arrogance and hostility. English - Abdel Haleem

كَمْ أَهْلَكْنَا مِن قَبْلِهِم مِّن قَرْنٍۢ فَنَادَوا۟ وَّلَاتَ حِينَ مَنَاصٍۢ Arabic How many generations We have destroyed before them! They all cried out, once it was too late, for escape. English - Abdel Haleem

وَعَجِبُوٓا۟ أَن جَآءَهُم مُّنذِرٌۭ مِّنْهُمْ ۖ وَقَالَ ٱلْكَٰفِرُونَ هَٰذَا سَٰحِرٌۭ كَذَّابٌ Arabic The disbelievers think it strange that a prophet of their own people has come to warn them: they say, ‘He is just a lying sorcerer. English - Abdel Haleem

أَجَعَلَ ٱلْءَالِهَةَ إِلَٰهًۭا وَٰحِدًا ۖ إِنَّ هَٰذَا لَشَىْءٌ عُجَابٌۭ Arabic How can he claim that all the gods are but one God? What an astonishing thing [to claim]!’ English - Abdel Haleem

وَٱنطَلَقَ ٱلْمَلَأُ مِنْهُمْ أَنِ ٱمْشُوا۟ وَٱصْبِرُوا۟ عَلَىٰٓ ءَالِهَتِكُمْ ۖ إِنَّ هَٰذَا لَشَىْءٌۭ يُرَادُ Arabic Their leaders depart, saying, ‘Walk away! Stay faithful to your gods! That is what you must do. English - Abdel Haleem

مَا سَمِعْنَا بِهَٰذَا فِى ٱلْمِلَّةِ ٱلْءَاخِرَةِ إِنْ هَٰذَآ إِلَّا ٱخْتِلَٰقٌ Arabic We did not hear any such claim in the last religion: it is all an invention. English - Abdel Haleem

أَءُنزِلَ عَلَيْهِ ٱلذِّكْرُ مِنۢ بَيْنِنَا ۚ بَلْ هُمْ فِى شَكٍّۢ مِّن ذِكْرِى ۖ بَل لَّمَّا يَذُوقُوا۟ عَذَابِ Arabic Was the message sent only to him out of all of us?’ In fact they doubt My warning; in fact they have not tasted My punishment yet. English - Abdel Haleem

أَمْ عِندَهُمْ خَزَآئِنُ رَحْمَةِ رَبِّكَ ٱلْعَزِيزِ ٱلْوَهَّابِ Arabic Do they possess the treasures of your Lord’s bounty, the Mighty, the All Giving? English - Abdel Haleem

أَمْ لَهُم مُّلْكُ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا ۖ فَلْيَرْتَقُوا۟ فِى ٱلْأَسْبَٰبِ Arabic Do they control the heavens and earth and everything between? Let them climb their ropes: English - Abdel Haleem

جُندٌۭ مَّا هُنَالِكَ مَهْزُومٌۭ مِّنَ ٱلْأَحْزَابِ Arabic Their armed alliance is weak and will be crushed. English - Abdel Haleem

كَذَّبَتْ قَبْلَهُمْ قَوْمُ نُوحٍۢ وَعَادٌۭ وَفِرْعَوْنُ ذُو ٱلْأَوْتَادِ Arabic The people of Noah, 'Ad, and firmly-supported Pharaoh rejected their prophets before them. English - Abdel Haleem

وَثَمُودُ وَقَوْمُ لُوطٍۢ وَأَصْحَٰبُ لْـَٔيْكَةِ ۚ أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ ٱلْأَحْزَابُ Arabic Thamud, the people of Lot, and the Forest-Dwellers each formed opposition [against theirs]. English - Abdel Haleem

إِن كُلٌّ إِلَّا كَذَّبَ ٱلرُّسُلَ فَحَقَّ عِقَابِ Arabic They all rejected the messengers and they were deservedly struck by My punishment: English - Abdel Haleem

وَمَا يَنظُرُ هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ إِلَّا صَيْحَةًۭ وَٰحِدَةًۭ مَّا لَهَا مِن فَوَاقٍۢ Arabic All the disbelievers here are waiting for is a single blast that cannot be postponed. English - Abdel Haleem

وَقَالُوا۟ رَبَّنَا عَجِّل لَّنَا قِطَّنَا قَبْلَ يَوْمِ ٱلْحِسَابِ Arabic They say, ‘Our Lord! Advance us our share of punishment before the Day of Reckoning!’ English - Abdel Haleem

ٱصْبِرْ عَلَىٰ مَا يَقُولُونَ وَٱذْكُرْ عَبْدَنَا دَاوُۥدَ ذَا ٱلْأَيْدِ ۖ إِنَّهُۥٓ أَوَّابٌ Arabic Bear their words patiently [Prophet]. Remember Our servant David, a man of strength who always turned to Us: English - Abdel Haleem

إِنَّا سَخَّرْنَا ٱلْجِبَالَ مَعَهُۥ يُسَبِّحْنَ بِٱلْعَشِىِّ وَٱلْإِشْرَاقِ Arabic We made the mountains join him in glorifying Us at sunset and sunrise; English - Abdel Haleem

وَٱلطَّيْرَ مَحْشُورَةًۭ ۖ كُلٌّۭ لَّهُۥٓ أَوَّابٌۭ Arabic And the birds, too, in flocks, all echoed his praise. English - Abdel Haleem

وَشَدَدْنَا مُلْكَهُۥ وَءَاتَيْنَٰهُ ٱلْحِكْمَةَ وَفَصْلَ ٱلْخِطَابِ Arabic We strengthened his kingdom; We gave him wisdom and a decisive way of speaking. English - Abdel Haleem

وَهَلْ أَتَىٰكَ نَبَؤُا۟ ٱلْخَصْمِ إِذْ تَسَوَّرُوا۟ ٱلْمِحْرَابَ Arabic Have you heard the story of the two litigants who climbed into his private quarters? English - Abdel Haleem

إِذْ دَخَلُوا۟ عَلَىٰ دَاوُۥدَ فَفَزِعَ مِنْهُمْ ۖ قَالُوا۟ لَا تَخَفْ ۖ خَصْمَانِ بَغَىٰ بَعْضُنَا عَلَىٰ بَعْضٍۢ فَٱحْكُم بَيْنَنَا بِٱلْحَقِّ وَلَا تُشْطِطْ وَٱهْدِنَآ إِلَىٰ سَوَآءِ ٱلصِّرَٰطِ Arabic When they reached David, he took fright, but they said, ‘Do not be afraid. We are two litigants, one of whom has wronged the other: judge between us fairly– do not be unjust– and guide us to the right path. English - Abdel Haleem

إِنَّ هَٰذَآ أَخِى لَهُۥ تِسْعٌۭ وَتِسْعُونَ نَعْجَةًۭ وَلِىَ نَعْجَةٌۭ وَٰحِدَةٌۭ فَقَالَ أَكْفِلْنِيهَا وَعَزَّنِى فِى ٱلْخِطَابِ Arabic This is my brother. He had ninety-nine ewes and I just the one, and he said, “Let me take charge of her,” and overpowered me with his words.’ English - Abdel Haleem

قَالَ لَقَدْ ظَلَمَكَ بِسُؤَالِ نَعْجَتِكَ إِلَىٰ نِعَاجِهِۦ ۖ وَإِنَّ كَثِيرًۭا مِّنَ ٱلْخُلَطَآءِ لَيَبْغِى بَعْضُهُمْ عَلَىٰ بَعْضٍ إِلَّا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ وَقَلِيلٌۭ مَّا هُمْ ۗ وَظَنَّ دَاوُۥدُ أَنَّمَا فَتَنَّٰهُ فَٱسْتَغْفَرَ رَبَّهُۥ وَخَرَّ رَاكِعًۭا وَأَنَابَ ۩ Arabic David said, ‘He has done you wrong by demanding to add your ewe to his flock. Many partners treat each other unfairly. Those who sincerely believe and do good deeds do not do this, but these are very few.’ [Then] David realized that We had been testing him, so he asked his Lord for forgiveness, fell down on his knees, and repented: English - Abdel Haleem

فَغَفَرْنَا لَهُۥ ذَٰلِكَ ۖ وَإِنَّ لَهُۥ عِندَنَا لَزُلْفَىٰ وَحُسْنَ مَـَٔابٍۢ Arabic We forgave him [his misdeed]. His reward will be nearness to Us, a good place to return to. English - Abdel Haleem

يَٰدَاوُۥدُ إِنَّا جَعَلْنَٰكَ خَلِيفَةًۭ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ فَٱحْكُم بَيْنَ ٱلنَّاسِ بِٱلْحَقِّ وَلَا تَتَّبِعِ ٱلْهَوَىٰ فَيُضِلَّكَ عَن سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ ۚ إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ يَضِلُّونَ عَن سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ لَهُمْ عَذَابٌۭ شَدِيدٌۢ بِمَا نَسُوا۟ يَوْمَ ٱلْحِسَابِ Arabic ‘David, We have given you mastery over the land. Judge fairly between people. Do not follow your desires, lest they divert you from God’s path: those who wander from His path will have a painful torment because they ignore the Day of Reckoning.’ English - Abdel Haleem

وَمَا خَلَقْنَا ٱلسَّمَآءَ وَٱلْأَرْضَ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا بَٰطِلًۭا ۚ ذَٰلِكَ ظَنُّ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ ۚ فَوَيْلٌۭ لِّلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ مِنَ ٱلنَّارِ Arabic It was not without purpose that We created the heavens and the earth and everything in between. That may be what the disbelievers assume– how they will suffer from the Fire!– English - Abdel Haleem

أَمْ نَجْعَلُ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ كَٱلْمُفْسِدِينَ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ أَمْ نَجْعَلُ ٱلْمُتَّقِينَ كَٱلْفُجَّارِ Arabic But would We treat those who believe and do good deeds and those who spread corruption on earth as equal? Would We treat those who are aware of God and those who recklessly break all bounds in the same way? English - Abdel Haleem

كِتَٰبٌ أَنزَلْنَٰهُ إِلَيْكَ مُبَٰرَكٌۭ لِّيَدَّبَّرُوٓا۟ ءَايَٰتِهِۦ وَلِيَتَذَكَّرَ أُو۟لُوا۟ ٱلْأَلْبَٰبِ Arabic This is a blessed Scripture which We sent down to you [Muhammad], for people to think about its messages, and for those with understanding to take heed. English - Abdel Haleem

وَوَهَبْنَا لِدَاوُۥدَ سُلَيْمَٰنَ ۚ نِعْمَ ٱلْعَبْدُ ۖ إِنَّهُۥٓ أَوَّابٌ Arabic We gave David Solomon. He was an excellent servant who always turned to God. English - Abdel Haleem

إِذْ عُرِضَ عَلَيْهِ بِٱلْعَشِىِّ ٱلصَّٰفِنَٰتُ ٱلْجِيَادُ Arabic When well-bred light-footed horses were paraded before him near the close of day, English - Abdel Haleem

فَقَالَ إِنِّىٓ أَحْبَبْتُ حُبَّ ٱلْخَيْرِ عَن ذِكْرِ رَبِّى حَتَّىٰ تَوَارَتْ بِٱلْحِجَابِ Arabic He kept saying, ‘My love of fine things is part of my remembering my Lord!’ until [the horses] disappeared from sight– English - Abdel Haleem

رُدُّوهَا عَلَىَّ ۖ فَطَفِقَ مَسْحًۢا بِٱلسُّوقِ وَٱلْأَعْنَاقِ Arabic ‘Bring them back!’ [he said] and started to stroke their legs and necks. English - Abdel Haleem

وَلَقَدْ فَتَنَّا سُلَيْمَٰنَ وَأَلْقَيْنَا عَلَىٰ كُرْسِيِّهِۦ جَسَدًۭا ثُمَّ أَنَابَ Arabic We certainly tested Solomon, reducing him to a mere skeleton on his throne. English - Abdel Haleem

قَالَ رَبِّ ٱغْفِرْ لِى وَهَبْ لِى مُلْكًۭا لَّا يَنۢبَغِى لِأَحَدٍۢ مِّنۢ بَعْدِىٓ ۖ إِنَّكَ أَنتَ ٱلْوَهَّابُ Arabic He turned to Us and prayed: ‘Lord forgive me! Grant me such power as no one after me will have– You are the Most Generous Provider.’ English - Abdel Haleem

فَسَخَّرْنَا لَهُ ٱلرِّيحَ تَجْرِى بِأَمْرِهِۦ رُخَآءً حَيْثُ أَصَابَ Arabic So We gave him power over the wind, which at his request ran gently wherever he willed, English - Abdel Haleem

وَٱلشَّيَٰطِينَ كُلَّ بَنَّآءٍۢ وَغَوَّاصٍۢ Arabic And the jinn ––every kind of builder and diver English - Abdel Haleem

وَءَاخَرِينَ مُقَرَّنِينَ فِى ٱلْأَصْفَادِ Arabic And others chained in fetters. English - Abdel Haleem

هَٰذَا عَطَآؤُنَا فَٱمْنُنْ أَوْ أَمْسِكْ بِغَيْرِ حِسَابٍۢ Arabic ‘This is Our gift, so give or withhold as you wish without account.’ English - Abdel Haleem

وَإِنَّ لَهُۥ عِندَنَا لَزُلْفَىٰ وَحُسْنَ مَـَٔابٍۢ Arabic His reward will be nearness to Us, and a good place to return to. English - Abdel Haleem

وَٱذْكُرْ عَبْدَنَآ أَيُّوبَ إِذْ نَادَىٰ رَبَّهُۥٓ أَنِّى مَسَّنِىَ ٱلشَّيْطَٰنُ بِنُصْبٍۢ وَعَذَابٍ Arabic Bring to mind Our servant Job who cried to his Lord, ‘Satan has afflicted me with weariness and suffering.’ English - Abdel Haleem

ٱرْكُضْ بِرِجْلِكَ ۖ هَٰذَا مُغْتَسَلٌۢ بَارِدٌۭ وَشَرَابٌۭ Arabic ‘Stamp your foot! Here is cool water for you to wash in and drink,’ English - Abdel Haleem

وَوَهَبْنَا لَهُۥٓ أَهْلَهُۥ وَمِثْلَهُم مَّعَهُمْ رَحْمَةًۭ مِّنَّا وَذِكْرَىٰ لِأُو۟لِى ٱلْأَلْبَٰبِ Arabic And We restored his family to him, with many more like them: a sign of Our mercy and a lesson to all who understand. English - Abdel Haleem

وَخُذْ بِيَدِكَ ضِغْثًۭا فَٱضْرِب بِّهِۦ وَلَا تَحْنَثْ ۗ إِنَّا وَجَدْنَٰهُ صَابِرًۭا ۚ نِّعْمَ ٱلْعَبْدُ ۖ إِنَّهُۥٓ أَوَّابٌۭ Arabic ‘Take a small bunch of grass in your hand, and strike [her] with that so as not to break your oath.’ We found him patient in adversity; an excellent servant! He, too, always turned to God. English - Abdel Haleem

وَٱذْكُرْ عِبَٰدَنَآ إِبْرَٰهِيمَ وَإِسْحَٰقَ وَيَعْقُوبَ أُو۟لِى ٱلْأَيْدِى وَٱلْأَبْصَٰرِ Arabic Remember Our servants Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, all men of strength and vision. English - Abdel Haleem

إِنَّآ أَخْلَصْنَٰهُم بِخَالِصَةٍۢ ذِكْرَى ٱلدَّارِ Arabic We caused them to be devoted to Us through their sincere remembrance of the Final Home: English - Abdel Haleem

وَإِنَّهُمْ عِندَنَا لَمِنَ ٱلْمُصْطَفَيْنَ ٱلْأَخْيَارِ Arabic With Us they will be among the elect, the truly good. English - Abdel Haleem

وَٱذْكُرْ إِسْمَٰعِيلَ وَٱلْيَسَعَ وَذَا ٱلْكِفْلِ ۖ وَكُلٌّۭ مِّنَ ٱلْأَخْيَارِ Arabic And remember Our servants Ishmael, Elisha, and Dhu ’l-Kifl, each of them truly good. English - Abdel Haleem

هَٰذَا ذِكْرٌۭ ۚ وَإِنَّ لِلْمُتَّقِينَ لَحُسْنَ مَـَٔابٍۢ Arabic This is a lesson. The devout will have a good place to return to: English - Abdel Haleem

جَنَّٰتِ عَدْنٍۢ مُّفَتَّحَةًۭ لَّهُمُ ٱلْأَبْوَٰبُ Arabic Gardens of lasting bliss with gates wide open. English - Abdel Haleem

مُتَّكِـِٔينَ فِيهَا يَدْعُونَ فِيهَا بِفَٰكِهَةٍۢ كَثِيرَةٍۢ وَشَرَابٍۢ Arabic They will be comfortably seated; they will call for abundant fruit and drink; English - Abdel Haleem

وَعِندَهُمْ قَٰصِرَٰتُ ٱلطَّرْفِ أَتْرَابٌ Arabic They will have well-matched [wives] with modest gaze. English - Abdel Haleem

هَٰذَا مَا تُوعَدُونَ لِيَوْمِ ٱلْحِسَابِ Arabic ‘This is what you are promised for the Day of Reckoning: English - Abdel Haleem

إِنَّ هَٰذَا لَرِزْقُنَا مَا لَهُۥ مِن نَّفَادٍ Arabic Our provision for you will never end.’ English - Abdel Haleem

هَٰذَا ۚ وَإِنَّ لِلطَّٰغِينَ لَشَرَّ مَـَٔابٍۢ Arabic But the evildoers will have the worst place to return to: English - Abdel Haleem

جَهَنَّمَ يَصْلَوْنَهَا فَبِئْسَ ٱلْمِهَادُ Arabic Hell to burn in, an evil place to stay– English - Abdel Haleem

هَٰذَا فَلْيَذُوقُوهُ حَمِيمٌۭ وَغَسَّاقٌۭ Arabic All this will be theirs: let them taste it– a scalding, dark, foul fluid, English - Abdel Haleem

وَءَاخَرُ مِن شَكْلِهِۦٓ أَزْوَٰجٌ Arabic And other such torments. English - Abdel Haleem

هَٰذَا فَوْجٌۭ مُّقْتَحِمٌۭ مَّعَكُمْ ۖ لَا مَرْحَبًۢا بِهِمْ ۚ إِنَّهُمْ صَالُوا۟ ٱلنَّارِ Arabic [It will be said], ‘Here is another crowd of people rushing headlong to join you.’ [The response will be], ‘They are not welcome! They will burn in the Fire.’ English - Abdel Haleem

قَالُوا۟ بَلْ أَنتُمْ لَا مَرْحَبًۢا بِكُمْ ۖ أَنتُمْ قَدَّمْتُمُوهُ لَنَا ۖ فَبِئْسَ ٱلْقَرَارُ Arabic They will say to them, ‘You are not welcome! It was you who brought this on us, an evil place to stay,’ English - Abdel Haleem

قَالُوا۟ رَبَّنَا مَن قَدَّمَ لَنَا هَٰذَا فَزِدْهُ عَذَابًۭا ضِعْفًۭا فِى ٱلنَّارِ Arabic Adding, ‘Our Lord, give double punishment to those who brought this upon us.’ English - Abdel Haleem

وَقَالُوا۟ مَا لَنَا لَا نَرَىٰ رِجَالًۭا كُنَّا نَعُدُّهُم مِّنَ ٱلْأَشْرَارِ Arabic They will say, ‘Why do we not see those we thought were bad English - Abdel Haleem

أَتَّخَذْنَٰهُمْ سِخْرِيًّا أَمْ زَاغَتْ عَنْهُمُ ٱلْأَبْصَٰرُ Arabic And took as a laughing-stock? Have our eyes missed them?’ English - Abdel Haleem

إِنَّ ذَٰلِكَ لَحَقٌّۭ تَخَاصُمُ أَهْلِ ٱلنَّارِ Arabic This is how it will really be: the inhabitants of the Fire will blame one another in this way. English - Abdel Haleem

قُلْ إِنَّمَآ أَنَا۠ مُنذِرٌۭ ۖ وَمَا مِنْ إِلَٰهٍ إِلَّا ٱللَّهُ ٱلْوَٰحِدُ ٱلْقَهَّارُ Arabic [Prophet] say, ‘I am only here to give warning. There is no god but God the One, the All Powerful, English - Abdel Haleem

رَبُّ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا ٱلْعَزِيزُ ٱلْغَفَّٰرُ Arabic Lord of the heavens and earth and everything between, the Almighty, the Most Forgiving.’ English - Abdel Haleem

قُلْ هُوَ نَبَؤٌا۟ عَظِيمٌ Arabic Say, ‘This message is a mighty one, English - Abdel Haleem

أَنتُمْ عَنْهُ مُعْرِضُونَ Arabic Yet you ignore it. English - Abdel Haleem

مَا كَانَ لِىَ مِنْ عِلْمٍۭ بِٱلْمَلَإِ ٱلْأَعْلَىٰٓ إِذْ يَخْتَصِمُونَ Arabic I have no knowledge of what those on high discuss: English - Abdel Haleem

إِن يُوحَىٰٓ إِلَىَّ إِلَّآ أَنَّمَآ أَنَا۠ نَذِيرٌۭ مُّبِينٌ Arabic It is only revealed to me that I am here to give clear warning.’ English - Abdel Haleem

إِذْ قَالَ رَبُّكَ لِلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةِ إِنِّى خَٰلِقٌۢ بَشَرًۭا مِّن طِينٍۢ Arabic Your Lord said to the angels, ‘I will create a man from clay. English - Abdel Haleem

فَإِذَا سَوَّيْتُهُۥ وَنَفَخْتُ فِيهِ مِن رُّوحِى فَقَعُوا۟ لَهُۥ سَٰجِدِينَ Arabic When I have shaped him and breathed from My Spirit into him, bow down before him.’ English - Abdel Haleem

فَسَجَدَ ٱلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةُ كُلُّهُمْ أَجْمَعُونَ Arabic The angels all bowed down together, English - Abdel Haleem

إِلَّآ إِبْلِيسَ ٱسْتَكْبَرَ وَكَانَ مِنَ ٱلْكَٰفِرِينَ Arabic But not Iblis, who was too proud. He became a rebel. English - Abdel Haleem

قَالَ يَٰٓإِبْلِيسُ مَا مَنَعَكَ أَن تَسْجُدَ لِمَا خَلَقْتُ بِيَدَىَّ ۖ أَسْتَكْبَرْتَ أَمْ كُنتَ مِنَ ٱلْعَالِينَ Arabic God said, ‘Iblis, what prevents you from bowing down to the man I have made with My own hands? Are you too high and mighty?’ English - Abdel Haleem

قَالَ أَنَا۠ خَيْرٌۭ مِّنْهُ ۖ خَلَقْتَنِى مِن نَّارٍۢ وَخَلَقْتَهُۥ مِن طِينٍۢ Arabic Iblis said, ‘I am better than him: You made me from fire, and him from clay.’ English - Abdel Haleem

قَالَ فَٱخْرُجْ مِنْهَا فَإِنَّكَ رَجِيمٌۭ Arabic ‘Get out of here! You are rejected: English - Abdel Haleem

وَإِنَّ عَلَيْكَ لَعْنَتِىٓ إِلَىٰ يَوْمِ ٱلدِّينِ Arabic My rejection will follow you till the Day of Judgement!’ English - Abdel Haleem

قَالَ رَبِّ فَأَنظِرْنِىٓ إِلَىٰ يَوْمِ يُبْعَثُونَ Arabic But Iblis said, ‘My Lord, grant me respite until the Day when they are raised from the dead,’ English - Abdel Haleem

قَالَ فَإِنَّكَ مِنَ ٱلْمُنظَرِينَ Arabic So He said, ‘You have respite English - Abdel Haleem

إِلَىٰ يَوْمِ ٱلْوَقْتِ ٱلْمَعْلُومِ Arabic Till the Appointed Day.’ English - Abdel Haleem

قَالَ فَبِعِزَّتِكَ لَأُغْوِيَنَّهُمْ أَجْمَعِينَ Arabic Iblis said, ‘I swear by Your might! I will tempt all English - Abdel Haleem

إِلَّا عِبَادَكَ مِنْهُمُ ٱلْمُخْلَصِينَ Arabic But Your true servants.’ English - Abdel Haleem

قَالَ فَٱلْحَقُّ وَٱلْحَقَّ أَقُولُ Arabic God said, ‘This is the truth– I speak only the truth– English - Abdel Haleem

لَأَمْلَأَنَّ جَهَنَّمَ مِنكَ وَمِمَّن تَبِعَكَ مِنْهُمْ أَجْمَعِينَ Arabic I will fill Hell with you and all those that follow you.’ English - Abdel Haleem

قُلْ مَآ أَسْـَٔلُكُمْ عَلَيْهِ مِنْ أَجْرٍۢ وَمَآ أَنَا۠ مِنَ ٱلْمُتَكَلِّفِينَ Arabic [Prophet], say, ‘I ask no reward from you for this, nor do I claim to be what I am not: English - Abdel Haleem

إِنْ هُوَ إِلَّا ذِكْرٌۭ لِّلْعَٰلَمِينَ Arabic This is only a warning for all people. English - Abdel Haleem

وَلَتَعْلَمُنَّ نَبَأَهُۥ بَعْدَ حِينٍۭ Arabic In time you will certainly come to know its truth.’ English - Abdel Haleem
