Bismillah al rahman al rahim

وَيْلٌۭ لِّلْمُطَفِّفِينَ Arabic Woe to those who give short measure, English - Abdel Haleem

ٱلَّذِينَ إِذَا ٱكْتَالُوا۟ عَلَى ٱلنَّاسِ يَسْتَوْفُونَ Arabic Who demand of other people full measure for themselves, English - Abdel Haleem

وَإِذَا كَالُوهُمْ أَو وَّزَنُوهُمْ يُخْسِرُونَ Arabic But give less than they should when it is they who weigh or measure for others! English - Abdel Haleem

أَلَا يَظُنُّ أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ أَنَّهُم مَّبْعُوثُونَ Arabic Do these people not realize that they will be raised up English - Abdel Haleem

لِيَوْمٍ عَظِيمٍۢ Arabic On a mighty Day, English - Abdel Haleem

يَوْمَ يَقُومُ ٱلنَّاسُ لِرَبِّ ٱلْعَٰلَمِينَ Arabic A Day when everyone will stand before the Lord of the Worlds? English - Abdel Haleem

كَلَّآ إِنَّ كِتَٰبَ ٱلْفُجَّارِ لَفِى سِجِّينٍۢ Arabic No indeed! The list of the wicked is in Sijjin –– English - Abdel Haleem

وَمَآ أَدْرَىٰكَ مَا سِجِّينٌۭ Arabic What will explain to you what Sijjin is?–– English - Abdel Haleem

كِتَٰبٌۭ مَّرْقُومٌۭ Arabic A clearly numbered list. English - Abdel Haleem

وَيْلٌۭ يَوْمَئِذٍۢ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ Arabic Woe on that day to the deniers, English - Abdel Haleem

ٱلَّذِينَ يُكَذِّبُونَ بِيَوْمِ ٱلدِّينِ Arabic Those who deny the Day of Judgement! English - Abdel Haleem

وَمَا يُكَذِّبُ بِهِۦٓ إِلَّا كُلُّ مُعْتَدٍ أَثِيمٍ Arabic Only the evil aggressor denies it: English - Abdel Haleem

إِذَا تُتْلَىٰ عَلَيْهِ ءَايَٰتُنَا قَالَ أَسَٰطِيرُ ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ Arabic When Our revelations are recited to him, he says, ‘Ancient fables!’ English - Abdel Haleem

كَلَّا ۖ بَلْ ۜ رَانَ عَلَىٰ قُلُوبِهِم مَّا كَانُوا۟ يَكْسِبُونَ Arabic No indeed! Their hearts are encrusted with what they have done. English - Abdel Haleem

كَلَّآ إِنَّهُمْ عَن رَّبِّهِمْ يَوْمَئِذٍۢ لَّمَحْجُوبُونَ Arabic No indeed! On that Day they will be screened off from their Lord, English - Abdel Haleem

ثُمَّ إِنَّهُمْ لَصَالُوا۟ ٱلْجَحِيمِ Arabic They will burn in Hell, English - Abdel Haleem

ثُمَّ يُقَالُ هَٰذَا ٱلَّذِى كُنتُم بِهِۦ تُكَذِّبُونَ Arabic And they will be told, ‘This is what you called a lie.’ English - Abdel Haleem

كَلَّآ إِنَّ كِتَٰبَ ٱلْأَبْرَارِ لَفِى عِلِّيِّينَ Arabic No indeed! The list of the truly good is in ' Illiyyin –– English - Abdel Haleem

وَمَآ أَدْرَىٰكَ مَا عِلِّيُّونَ Arabic What will explain to you what ' Illiyyin is?–– English - Abdel Haleem

كِتَٰبٌۭ مَّرْقُومٌۭ Arabic A clearly written list, English - Abdel Haleem

يَشْهَدُهُ ٱلْمُقَرَّبُونَ Arabic Witnessed by those brought near. English - Abdel Haleem

إِنَّ ٱلْأَبْرَارَ لَفِى نَعِيمٍ Arabic The truly good will live in bliss, English - Abdel Haleem

عَلَى ٱلْأَرَآئِكِ يَنظُرُونَ Arabic Seated on couches, gazing around. English - Abdel Haleem

تَعْرِفُ فِى وُجُوهِهِمْ نَضْرَةَ ٱلنَّعِيمِ Arabic You will recognize on their faces the radiance of bliss. English - Abdel Haleem

يُسْقَوْنَ مِن رَّحِيقٍۢ مَّخْتُومٍ Arabic They will be served a sealed nectar, English - Abdel Haleem

خِتَٰمُهُۥ مِسْكٌۭ ۚ وَفِى ذَٰلِكَ فَلْيَتَنَافَسِ ٱلْمُتَنَٰفِسُونَ Arabic Its seal [perfumed with] a fragrant herb ––let those who strive, strive for this–– English - Abdel Haleem

وَمِزَاجُهُۥ مِن تَسْنِيمٍ Arabic Mixed with the water of Tasnim, English - Abdel Haleem

عَيْنًۭا يَشْرَبُ بِهَا ٱلْمُقَرَّبُونَ Arabic A spring from which those brought near will drink. English - Abdel Haleem

إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ أَجْرَمُوا۟ كَانُوا۟ مِنَ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ يَضْحَكُونَ Arabic The wicked used to laugh at the believers–– English - Abdel Haleem

وَإِذَا مَرُّوا۟ بِهِمْ يَتَغَامَزُونَ Arabic They would wink at one another when the believers passed by them, English - Abdel Haleem

وَإِذَا ٱنقَلَبُوٓا۟ إِلَىٰٓ أَهْلِهِمُ ٱنقَلَبُوا۟ فَكِهِينَ Arabic Joke about them when they got back to their own people, English - Abdel Haleem

وَإِذَا رَأَوْهُمْ قَالُوٓا۟ إِنَّ هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ لَضَآلُّونَ Arabic And say, when they saw them, ‘These people are misguided,’ English - Abdel Haleem

وَمَآ أُرْسِلُوا۟ عَلَيْهِمْ حَٰفِظِينَ Arabic Though they were not sent to be their keepers– English - Abdel Haleem

فَٱلْيَوْمَ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ مِنَ ٱلْكُفَّارِ يَضْحَكُونَ Arabic So today the believers are laughing at the disbelievers English - Abdel Haleem

عَلَى ٱلْأَرَآئِكِ يَنظُرُونَ Arabic As they sit on couches, gazing around. English - Abdel Haleem

هَلْ ثُوِّبَ ٱلْكُفَّارُ مَا كَانُوا۟ يَفْعَلُونَ Arabic Have the disbelievers [not] been repaid for their deeds? English - Abdel Haleem
